In the article “Unmet Needs of Severely Affected Multiple Sclerosis Patients: The Health Professionals View” the main topic of discussion is how
health care professionals are dealing with patients with MS. Throughout the article, there are many examples on how doctors, nurses and social workers are feeling like they are helpless when it comes to providing relief to those patients. Also explained in the article the authors informed the audience on how some patients burdened with the many symptoms if MS can be compared to the pain that people living with cancer go through. The fact the some people living with MS need continuous care and services to help them live an everyday life, as well are psychological support is something that many patients need or will at some time need to help them live their everyday lives.
